In the table below you can find a list of Federal holidays dates in 2017 year. For each entry the number of the remaining days is also shown, except for the dates already in the past. The most important dates are marked in red.
Federal holidays are public holidays established for federal employees in the Federal law (5 United States Code 6103) by the United States Congress. Employees are paid for the holidays. Most of them work Monday to Friday and when a holiday falls on Saturday it is usually observed on Friday (the day before), and when it falls on Sunday it is observed the following Monday.
